Position Overview

As a key member of the culinary team at Butlin's, you will have the unique opportunity to blend your passion for gastronomy with the joy of creating memorable experiences for our guests.

In the role of Assistant Culinary Leader, you will collaborate with a skilled group of chefs to execute our diverse food offerings across the resort, ranging from traditional pub fare to vibrant American cuisine and everything in between.

Depending on the specific venue, you may be in charge of operations or working closely with a Head Chef to supervise and guide small teams of junior chefs, ensuring exceptional quality in every dish.

As the custodian of a designated kitchen section, you will be responsible for the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of all meals, adhering to established recipe guidelines and brand standards.

Upon joining Butlin's, you will also gain access to our Award-Winning Chef Academy, designed to enhance your culinary skills in a supportive and educational atmosphere, facilitating your growth within the culinary profession.

About You: We seek individuals who are driven and eager to advance in a dynamic and thrilling environment. Previous experience in a similar capacity is essential.

You should possess a Level 3 Food Safety certification and demonstrate confidence in leading a team to consistently uphold high standards in a bustling kitchen setting.

As with any chef position at this level, you will also be tasked with managing food costs, controlling expenses, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential to maintain smooth operations in our restaurants during peak guest periods.

We can assist you in achieving a Level 2 or Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification and support your development through the esteemed Butlin's Chef Academy.
