Senior Quantitative Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with dealing, operations, risk, and IT development teams.

As a Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining pricing models for new and complex products, working with other team leads and senior members on dealing strategy improvement, and implementing and improving pricing and risk management algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain pricing models for brand new and increasingly complex products.
  2. Work with other Team Leads and Senior members of Quantitative Strategies on dealing strategy improvement.
  3. Work with the Development teams to implement and improve pricing and risk management algorithms.
  4. Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.
  5. Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.

Key Skills and Experience:

  1. A degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, computer science or equivalent disciplines.
  2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ideally with front-office facing FX, Equities, Fixed Income or derivatives experience.
  3. Knowledge of general financial products and derivatives. Understanding of market microstructure.
  4. Strong skills in Excel and Python, SQL and time-series databases.
  5. Strong familiarity with Agile processes.
  6. Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Matlab, R or other mathematical/statistical languages/packages.
  7. Experience in leadership and mentoring.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
