Clinical Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at Donard Recruitment. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a critical role in providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) program.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR) to manage caseloads from end to end.
- Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
- Have time built into your working rota for breaks, continuing professional development (CPD), audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
- Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
- 1+ years post-qualification experience.
- Valid registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) without restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
- Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500 per annum.
- 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus.
- OTE: £45,650 per annum.
- Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available.
- Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week).
- 25 days' holiday per annum, rising to 27 days with service.
