As the Head of People, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our business objectives, vision, and values. You will collaborate with departmental heads to understand staffing needs and plan for future requirements in line with our growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a people strategy that aligns with our business objectives, vision, and values.

  • Oversee the entire talent acquisition process, ensuring high-quality recruitment, induction, and training for all new employees.
  • Lead and develop cultural initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Coordinate initiatives for employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Act as a key contact for employee relations issues, driving a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with current and upcoming employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee HR operations, including policies, procedures, and record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within the food manufacturing sector.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in driving cultural change.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • HR Expertise: Deep understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices, along with a strong grasp of employment laws and regulations.
  • Sustainability Focus: Experience in supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
