Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Ambition24hours Locums and Allied. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and treating adult clients with communication and swallowing difficulties in the community and university hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess and develop treatment plans for adult clients with communication and swallowing difficulties
* Provide speech and language therapy services to clients in their homes and in hospital settings
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective and coordinated care
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve speech and language therapy services
* Provide training and mentoring to junior therapists and assistants
* Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in speech and language therapy

Requirements:

* Recognized Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
* Health and Care Professions Council – License to Practice
* Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist
* Evidence of successful completion of specialist short courses up to Master's degree equivalent
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly developed negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and reflection skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Working Conditions:

* The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and hospital departments
* The role will involve working with clients who have complex communication and swallowing difficulties
* The candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team
* The role will involve frequent travel to clients' homes and hospital departments
