About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in the General Outpatient Department at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients from across our Board area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
  • Provide emotional and practical support to patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting (desirable)
