Job Overview
The Lead Patient Systems Coordinator will oversee the comprehensive management of the Systems Management division within Patient Systems. This role requires effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and supplier account representatives to ensure timely resolution of issues. Close cooperation with Project and Programme Managers is vital to maintain a thorough understanding of all initiatives related to clinical systems and their implications for the Patient Systems team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intricate clinical application support to service users utilizing the most suitable communication methods, such as Teams, face-to-face, or telephone.
- Manage the overall work packages for the Systems Management division.
- Foster relationships with senior supplier account representatives and conduct regular service review meetings to monitor progress and address complex escalated issues.
- Supervise the Systems Management team, including managing staff performance and addressing disciplinary matters.
- Assist the Advanced Patient Systems Officer with intricate inquiries.

Education and Qualifications
Essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of various IM&T domains acquired through a degree or equivalent experience.
- Specialized knowledge obtained through a postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience.
- Additional managerial expertise in an IT customer-centric environment.
- In-depth understanding and experience of IT applications in healthcare settings.
Desirable
- PRINCE 2 Foundation qualification in Project Management.
Skills and Abilities
Essential
- Ability to communicate complex IM&T and corporate matters to non-IM&T managers; negotiate with external organizations regarding service issues.
- Proficient in analyzing complex service-related problems and making informed decisions regarding resource allocation for Patient Systems work.
- Capable of planning projects that impact the department and organization, contributing to the medium-term IM&T strategy.
- Implement IM&T policies and procedures in the designated area; propose modifications and redesign local IM&T policies that affect other areas.
- Competent in addressing staff and performance-related issues.
Experience

- Proven experience working at a senior level within a customer-focused service environment.
