Site Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the assurance of site quality by guiding, advising, and monitoring the installation and commissioning phases throughout the construction activities in the submarine refit facility.
- Your primary emphasis will be on mechanical operations.
- You will report directly to the Lead Construction Manager regarding daily planning activities.
- Support the construction and project teams by offering guidance and liaising with contractors and pertinent internal stakeholders to address site challenges and technical inquiries during the construction phase, ensuring alignment with contractual timelines.
- Ensure that contractors comply with the defined scope of work and any change requests.
- Conduct and document inspections to verify compliance with the scope and integrated testing protocols.
Qualifications:
- Possess a degree or chartered status in a relevant field.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in safely executing relevant construction activities, with a solid understanding of the nuclear sector and the implications of work on existing safety cases.
- Familiarity with CDM regulations, construction methodologies, and health and safety legislation.
- Experience working within the boundaries of a nuclear-licensed site is essential.
- Proven ability in effective stakeholder engagement and recognition of the significance of integrated team collaboration.
- Experience in managing NEC contracts is preferred.
Prerequisites:
- Possession of active SC clearance or a commitment to obtain SC clearance for the role.
