The facility provides a variety of services aimed at assisting individuals facing challenges such as addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, and those who have interacted with the criminal justice system.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of culinary professionals, ensuring the efficient daily operations of the kitchen.
  • Assist in conducting thorough weekly kitchen cleanings.
  • Complete necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all daily administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely, including inventory and statistical reporting.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant policies and regulations.
  • Ensure all team members receive appropriate training in company policies and health and safety standards.
  • Manage staff schedules and accurately process payroll.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Facilitate team meetings and daily briefings focused on health and safety.
  • Maintain workpacks and training records for staff.
  • Engage in menu planning and food preparation.
  • Handle ordering and stock management, adhering to the FIFO method.
  • Foster and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications Required:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
  • Strong numerical skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2/3 or willingness to obtain.
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.

Experience Needed:

  • Prior management experience in the food service sector.
  • A customer-oriented, proactive attitude.
  • An understanding and patient demeanor, capable of handling challenging situations.
  • Flexibility in duties and work hours.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A DBS check will be required for this position.
