Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Staff Nurse to join our team at Starfish Ward, West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
About the RoleAs a Paediatric Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality, family-centred care to children and their families on our 20-bedded acute children's ward. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic care to children and their families, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Work closely with the ward/ unit manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Be flexible and willing to work on any site where HPT provides acute services for children.
- RSCN/RN CHILD qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree/Diploma in Children's Nursing.
- Knowledge of child protection issues and paediatric care philosophy.
- Experience working in an acute paediatric setting.
- Awareness of current research and developments in paediatric nursing.
