The Advocate Group is collaborating with a prominent food and beverage organization dedicated to enhancing health through superior nutrition. This company focuses on health-oriented products and boasts a rapidly expanding portfolio.

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Procurement professional.

In this role, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of the entire procurement management process and have a direct influence on business outcomes through pivotal projects across four product categories.

You will join a global network of Buyers, exchanging best practices on an international scale.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Logistics Procurement Lead in implementing the category strategy for the UK and Ireland.
• Manage internal stakeholders and strategically source goods and services for designated logistics sub-categories.
• Oversee supplier management and engage in operational and tactical activities.
• Utilize procurement tools such as OneBuy, Zycus, and Sedex, while promoting B-Corp Accreditation.
• Manage tender processes, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and the lifecycle of contracts.
• Identify opportunities for enhancements in sourcing and delivery processes.
• Proficiently use Microsoft Office, possess a basic understanding of financial principles, and have an appreciation for logistics and supply chains.
• Travel occasionally to various company locations and supplier sites.

Education and Professional Experience:
• Ideally CIPS qualified (or pursuing qualification), or equivalent.
• Previous procurement experience with a diverse array of suppliers.
• Experience at a similar level within a relevant industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A proactive, highly motivated self-starter.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities.
• Commitment to deliverables and deadlines.
• Tenacity to see tasks through to completion.
• Effective team player capable of engaging across various business levels.
