About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dementia Care Manager to lead our dedicated team at Hutton View Care Home, a luxurious and welcoming environment in the heart of Hutton, Essex.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our dementia strategy, ensuring our community meets the highest standards of relationship-centred care.

You will work closely with our Head of Relationship Centred Care and Dementia Relationship Practitioner to deliver exceptional evidence-based care, forging strong links with local community groups and becoming a champion for dementia care in your area.

With a focus on developing people, rather than tasks, you will be a passionate advocate for dementia care, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and create a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a committed and loyal caring team
  • Developing and implementing our dementia strategy
  • Ensuring our community meets the stringent standards of relationship-centred care
  • Building strong relationships with local community groups and stakeholders
  • Supporting family members and friends of residents with dementia
