About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Fund Accounting Oversight Manager to join our Contingent Workforce Solutions team at M&G. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical fund accounting advice and oversight to support our clients' fund accounting needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial accounting oversight, including liaison with administrators, internal teams, and reporting to fund boards.
  • Offer technical fund accounting advice to internal teams and projects.
  • Conduct fund accounting oversight, including performance fees, income monitoring, and costs and charges.
  • Develop and implement effective oversight checks and controls in line with the oversight governance framework.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to present fund accounting information and insights to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent professional/academic qualification.
  • Highly experienced individual from an Investment Accounting, Fund Management, or Audit background.
  • Strong people management skills with experience of supervising a team.
  • NAV and Pricing knowledge.
  • Product knowledge of fund structures, including section 110, LP/GP, FCP, RAIF, ICAV, QIF, ELTIF, LTAFs.
  • Expertise in private debt, alternative credit, leveraged finance, restructuring, real estate, private assets fund structures, and money market funds.
  • Fund accounting and regulations knowledge, including Ireland, Luxembourg, UK, and Channel Islands.
  • Instrument knowledge, including Private equity, Private Debt, Derivatives, and Fixed income.
  • Fund costs and charges knowledge.
