Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of commercial litigation cases, including contractual matters, professional negligence claims, and disputes among companies and partnerships.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the litigation team, including reviewing case law and legislation.
  • Prepare and draft court documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.
  • Assist in the coordination of court hearings and trials, including preparing for and attending court hearings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of case progress and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of paralegal experience specifically in commercial litigation.

  • Effective case management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • A degree with a classification of 2:1 or higher.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with proven communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of commercial principles.
