Locum Consultant Ophthalmology - Oculoplastics

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmology Consultant to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our ophthalmic services.

As an Ophthalmology Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and conditions, and to develop your skills and expertise in oculoplastics and other areas of ophthalmology.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology, with experience in oculoplastics and lacrimal subspecialty training. You will be able to supervise junior staff and carry out 'on the job' training, and will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. We are looking for someone who is passionate about ophthalmology and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Person Specification
  1. Evidence of complete, structured and adequate general ophthalmic training
  2. Evidence of oculoplastics and lacrimal subspecialty training
Experience
  1. The ability to supervise junior staff and carry out 'on the job' training
  2. Audits completed
