About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will join the Employee Relations Team within HR Operations at Boots, a leading pharmacy-led, health and beauty retailer. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and support to line managers across the organization, helping them navigate complex employee relations issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate advice on employment legislation and employee relations matters, ensuring accurate and commercially focused guidance.
  • Handle a range of employee relations cases, from disciplinary and grievance issues to performance and capability concerns, demonstrating strong coaching and persuasion skills.
  • Build strong relationships with line managers, providing expert advice and support to help them make informed decisions.
  • Respond to email requests for information or advice, ensuring timely and professional communication.

  • Experience working in a similar or more generalist role, with a strong understanding of employment law and its practical application.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making.
