About the Role:

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager Assistant to join our team on a steel framed building project. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the site, ensuring that all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning and coordination of site activities, including programming and scheduling of works.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractor packages, ensuring that all works are carried out to the required standards and within the agreed timelines.
  • Monitor and control site costs, ensuring that all expenses are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all communication is clear and effective.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of site safety policies and procedures, ensuring that all site personnel are aware of and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in site management and coordination, preferably on steel framed building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
