Key Responsibilities:
Your daily responsibilities will encompass:
- Recognizing the necessity for assistance and utilizing it to generate precise estimates.
- Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the UK construction landscape and familiarity with primary Contract forms, addressing associated risks in tenders.
- Ensuring all estimates align with departmental procedures.
- Benchmarking critical productivity and cost factors by gathering insights from ongoing projects.
- Reviewing all estimates for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of client practices and industry standards.
- Estimating and generating project and corporate documentation.
- Presenting estimating and tendering data effectively.
- Contributing to knowledge sharing and team innovation.
- Identifying and minimizing unnecessary costs and inefficiencies.
- Assisting in supply chain identification through a well-informed market understanding.
- Overseeing the preparation of documents for tender reviews.
- Managing the creation of precise financial forecasts for target cost setting, ensuring timely completion.
- Keeping abreast of commercial, technical, legal, and insurance market knowledge.
- Producing budget pricing based on available data.
- Creating cash flow projections for tendering as needed.
- Collaborating with team members on tender processes for larger or more complex projects as required.
