Morson Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to work on behalf of a reputable Aerospace client. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and overhaul of products to engineering drawings and instructions
- Mechanical fitting and testing of Life Support equipment
- Operator Control of Quality (OCQ) to ensure quality standards are met
- Engineering Apprenticeship (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of Mechanical Assembly, Fitting, Testing, and Machining
- High standard of Health and Safety
- Adherence to Company Processes and Procedures
- Ability to work in a customer-focused environment and achieve targets
- Collaboration with Designers and Engineers
- Understanding of Aerospace practice and safety critical work
- PC literacy
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Essential skills in Health and Safety, teamwork, flexibility, and initiative
- Continuous Improvement
- Opportunity for further training in PC skills, Manual Handling, 5S, Lean, and Health and Safety
