Job Title: Personal Care Assistant at Lica Homecare

Location: South Lanarkshire

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients with personal hygiene, medication management, and meal preparation
  • Ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with industry regulations and agreements
  • Maintaining accurate documentation
  • Working collaboratively within a team to provide inclusive care

To be eligible for this role, candidates must hold a valid driver's license and have access to their own vehicle. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Knowledge of providing support services and anti-discriminatory practices in care settings is crucial. Membership in the PVG scheme and registration with the SSSC is required, with reimbursement for PVG costs after 3 months. Previous experience in a SSSC regulated environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
