About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Sunderland. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

Our residential service in Sunderland is a welcoming and friendly environment, and you can be sure that no two days will be the same. You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising, and doing lots of activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs in their daily lives
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, socialise, and engage in activities
  • Teach new life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals we support
