Position Overview

If you are passionate about nursing and wish to make a significant impact on patients' lives, a career in clinical research may be the perfect fit for you.

As a vital member of the clinical research facility (CRF) nursing team, you will have the chance to enhance your skills and knowledge in both research methodologies and oncology nursing, while contributing to the delivery of innovative treatments through clinical trials.

While prior experience in research or oncology nursing is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite, as we provide extensive training within a structured competency framework.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, night shifts, and occasional weekends. We welcome applications from individuals interested in permanent night shifts, job sharing, or flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of research patients under your care.
  • Exhibit knowledge of research protocols while providing care to patients undergoing treatment as part of a clinical trial.

  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor to foster positive working relationships.
  • Display professionalism and courtesy when handling phone calls and inquiries.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • First-level registration (RGN/RN Adult)
  • Degree in Healthcare studies (or equivalent)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Post-registration qualifications in Oncology
  • Evidence of ongoing personal, professional, and academic development

Experience

Essential Experience

  • Qualification in adult nursing

Desirable Experience

  • Experience at Band 5 in an acute care setting
  • Background in oncology nursing or related fields
