This role requires expertise in the Beacon platform to develop and optimise quantitative models, spearhead POC initiatives, and mentor the team in utilising Beacon's Python-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimise quantitative models using the Beacon platform
  • Spearhead POC initiatives to drive innovation and improvement
  • Mentor the team in utilising Beacon's Python-based environment, including Gromit and dependency graphs
  • Strong proficiency in Python, experience with C++ for quant libraries, and familiarity with Beacon's UI framework (Python integrated with React) are essential for success in this position
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Python, with a focus on Beacon's specific flavor and frameworks like Gromit
  • Experience in writing and optimising Python code for quantitative models
  • Strong background in coding and developing quantitative models, with the ability to implement complex financial algorithms and strategies within the Beacon platform
  • Experience with Beacon's UI framework, particularly Python wrapped around React, for building user-facing components
  • Ability to work with C++ quant libraries, including writing Python bindings to interface with C++ code
  • Understanding of trading, risk management, and financial market structures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to develop practical solutions
  • Experience working within an agile development environment, managing tasks, and collaborating in a fast-paced setting
What We Offer:
  • Day Rate: £1300 - £1400 p/d inside IR35
  • Hybrid Working – 2 days p/w onsite
  • 12 months rolling contract
