HGV Class 1 Tanker Operator

Menzies Distribution Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver with expertise in tanker operations to become a part of their dedicated team. This position involves the transportation and handling of products, ensuring exceptional service standards.

Key Information:

  • Shift Patterns: Flexible options available
  • Annual Salary: £34,689.82
  • Weekly Hours: 45
  • Monthly Compensation
  • Onsite Parking Facilities

Responsibilities of the HGV Class 1 Driver:

  • Execute general driving tasks while adhering to legal regulations and best practices for product deliveries and collections.
  • Utilize electronic Proof of Delivery systems and modern technology (comprehensive training provided)
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods
  • Occasional tramping may be required
  • Availability for weekend and bank holiday shifts may be necessary

Qualifications for the HGV Class 1 Driver:

  • Valid UK C+E driving license
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in Class 1 driving
  • Previous experience in bulk tanker operations, including pump and/or compressor usage (training will be provided)
  • No more than 6 penalty points on driving license
  • No prior disqualifications
  • Knowledgeable in driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
