Job Description

Menzies Distribution Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver with tanker experience to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting products on behalf of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake general driving duties, adhering to current legal and best practice guidelines.
  • Deliver and collect products to/from customer premises or other Menzies Distribution locations.
  • Operate electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) and utilize up-to-date technology (full training provided).
  • Assist with loading and unloading of products.
  • Participate in tramping activities.
  • Work weekends and bank holidays as required.
Requirements:
  • Hold a full UK C+E licence.
  • Have at least 12 months of previous Class 1 driving experience.
  • Have previous bulk tanker tipping experience using a pump and/or compressor (desirable).
  • Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence.
  • Have no previous disqualifications.
  • Have a good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
