About the Role:

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Crawley. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs, including autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with complex needs, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, engage in social activities, and participate in leisure pursuits.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.

Requirements:

  • Resilience, flexibility, and composure in approach.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, and complex mental health needs.
  • Ability to follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs.
  • Desire to learn and develop skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
