Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Reed. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in maximising cash collection and reducing aged debt, while supporting the business by managing credit limits and being aware of the risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all accounts daily to ensure timely collections and accurate reconciliation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to set credit terms and ensure collections are in line with company requirements.
- Proactively chase debt and escalate issues as necessary to ensure cash flow is maintained.
- Allocate cash in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Provide day-to-day administration support, including statements, copy invoices, and other financial documents.
- Work collaboratively across the business to identify and implement solutions to operational issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit control, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and decision-making authority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with a strong understanding of Excel, Word, and other financial software.
