About Us:

ARCA is working with a rapidly expanding engineering company in Wiltshire to find a skilled Demand Planner to join their team of 4 planners.

Role Overview:

As a Demand Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of their supply chain. Your responsibilities will include accurately forecasting customer demand, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize their supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for our products, incorporating historical data, market trends, and sales input.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather insights and ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, adjusting forecasts and safety stock parameters to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
  • Manage demand planning processes to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of materials and finished goods.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years+ proven experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and advanced Excel skills.
