Mechanical Engineer for Satellite Integration

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Stevenage. As an AIT Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering support for the production of satellites and payloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the customization phase of satellite projects, including design for manufacture and documentation creation.
- Lead the installation of satellite appendages and integration flows, and support process owners in their roles.
- Support the AIT Lead Engineering team during periods of high workload, and oversee unit installation activities on the satellite.
- Conduct quality reviews, PFMEA, and Root Cause Analysis, and create re-work instructions based on project requirements.
Requirements:
- High mechanical skills and relevant experience.
- Ability to write procedures and process control.
- Practical and proactive approach with a quality-driven mindset.
- Knowledge and experience in producing high-quality documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills, planning skills, and process competence.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
