About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team at Sigma Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in formulating customer-specific products and contributing to the development of new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development of new products, utilizing your expertise in chemistry and analytical chemistry.
  • Create product batches, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Perform quality control checks to guarantee the excellence of our products.
  • Develop customer labels and handle project development activities, working closely with our team to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Provide clear and precise feedback and reports, communicating effectively with our customers and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with customers to understand and fulfill their requirements, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Requirements
  • A degree-level qualification in a scientific subject, such as chemistry or analytical chemistry.
  • Industry experience in a laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent basic wet chemistry skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £27,000-£31,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, potential annual bonus, and 23 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays (increasing to 25 days over time). Our working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible start and end times to suit your needs.
