We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Community Team for People with a Learning Disability in Hywel Dda University Health Board.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adults and young people with a learning disability in partnership with them and their families.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist advice, support, and training to colleagues, families, and carers.
- Develop and maintain clinical competency profiles and skills in specialist areas.
- Contribute to the development of service delivery by promoting change in health and social care.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is a leading provider of NHS healthcare services in Wales, serving a population of around 384,000 people across a quarter of the country. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and improving health outcomes for our patients and communities.
Requirements- Registered Nurse (RNLD, RGN, or RMN) with a current NMC registration.
- Good understanding of current policy and practice in relation to people with Learning Disabilities.
- Desirable: Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD), Teaching Qualification, or recent experience in training health staff.
Welsh Speaker (Level 1) is desirable for this post. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
