This position entails a hands-on approach, engaging in a diverse range of tasks focused on operational efficiency and compliance. You will be expected to uphold high standards and lead by example, leveraging your previous experience in food production to ensure adherence to food safety regulations, HACCP, and BRC standards.

This role involves direct interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive in addressing daily inquiries and will escalate issues to the technical and operations managers as necessary. You will also play a vital role in supporting the leadership team with product trials, sensory evaluations, and microbiological assessments, as well as contributing to the development of new product offerings.

To excel in this position, you should be self-driven, detail-oriented, and possess strong observational skills. Success in this role requires accuracy and clarity, maintaining a solutions-oriented approach while ensuring compliance with specifications related to production schedules, customer needs, and food safety standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with IT proficiency, are essential for providing regular production data and performance reports to aid in business management and cost analysis.
