Job Overview: Community Safety Officer

Brackenberry Ltd is seeking a dedicated Community Safety Officer to join our team. This role involves working closely with local authorities to address issues related to anti-social behavior. The position is available on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

Compensation: £19.30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with various council departments, law enforcement, and community partners to collect and evaluate data on anti-social behavior.
  • Provide guidance and support to victims and witnesses, including gathering testimonies and evidence.
  • Implement effective measures against individuals involved in anti-social behavior, ensuring timely resolution of cases.
  • Oversee case management and ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate anti-social behavior challenges.
  • Conduct site visits to collect firsthand evidence related to incidents of anti-social behavior.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in literacy, numeracy, and familiarity with IT systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook, as well as database and case management applications.

Experience Needed:

  • Background in housing or community services.
  • Experience in evidence collection and case management processes.
  • Proven track record in maintaining records and collaborating with multiple agencies.
  • Experience in addressing public inquiries and managing complaints.

Additional Criteria:

  • Availability to start immediately or with a minimal notice period.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K.
  • A basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.
