About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities on packaging machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues, identify faults, and implement prompt repairs to minimize production losses.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to maintain equipment efficiency and extend its lifespan.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the production team to understand and address machinery performance issues, ensuring seamless production processes.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner to minimize production disruptions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inventory, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment Installation: Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, advances in technology, and best practices in maintenance engineering to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of packaging machinery and equipment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of packaging machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with production teams and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule or weekends, if required, to meet business needs.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications or licenses in maintenance engineering, preferred but not required.
