Progress Teachers Ltd is seeking dedicated SEN Support Specialists to join our team, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities.


Our working hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with positions available on a permanent, temporary to permanent, or fixed-term contract basis.

The role involves working across various educational stages, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 5 (KS5), providing support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and diverse learning difficulties.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students on a 1:1, 2:1, or whole-class basis
  • Collaborate with students holding an Educational Healthcare Plan (EHCP)
  • Participate in meetings with external agencies as necessary
  • Work closely with the school’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to monitor student progress
  • Implement interventions outside of the classroom setting
  • Provide consistent feedback to the classroom teacher
  • Maintain accurate records of student development
  • Aid in the execution of behavior management strategies
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

  • Possess an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Have prior experience in the education sector
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
