Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality facilities services, including maintenance, grounds, security, and clinical waste management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop the operations of the department, contributing to wider business planning, improvement, and development.
  • Oversee local IT, escalating and managing issues, and liaising with the IT department.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety in relation to COSHH.
  • Ensure that projects are planned, coordinated, monitored, and delivered in line with business requirements.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of the hospital and its performance, taking action to address any issues raised.
  • Implement and comply with all relevant standards and legislation, including health and safety within the hospital.
  • Review, develop, update, and implement local policies and procedures for the department, in accordance with statutory and organisational guidelines.
  • Manage and control business relationships with external suppliers and/or other agencies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide data and information to other areas of the hospital as requested.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with evidence of working at an equivalent level of responsibility.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Attention to detail.
