NHS Ayrshire & Arran is committed to implementing this change, although there may be instances where full transition is not feasible immediately. In such cases, you may be required to work 37.5 hours per week (pro rata for part-time staff) until the department can safely accommodate the new hours without compromising patient safety. You will, of course, be compensated accordingly. NHS Ayrshire & Arran is dedicated to fully implementing the 37-hour workweek across all areas as soon as it is safe to do so.
