Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Orbital Welder Specialist to join our team at HSB Technical Ltd. As an Orbital Welder Specialist, you will be responsible for performing precision welding on components and control systems used in the subsea industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up welding equipment, including orbital welding machines, power supplies, and gas systems.
  • Ensure all necessary materials, such as pipes or tubes, are clean, properly aligned, and ready for welding.
  • Program and calibrate orbital welding machines based on specific project requirements.
  • Adjust welding parameters, such as current, voltage, and rotation speed, to achieve the desired weld characteristics.
  • Operate orbital welding equipment to perform high-precision welds on a variety of materials, including stainless steel and exotic alloys.

Requirements:

  • Certifications in orbital welding or relevant welding processes may be required.
  • Experience as an orbital welder or similar role, with a strong emphasis on the use of AMI welding equipment and autogenous and wire feed welding processes.
