Job Title: Apprentice Sales Consultant

At Sunderland Association Football Club, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Apprentice Sales Consultant to join our Commercial team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new income through the sale of Commercial Hospitality and Match Day Sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and contribute to the team's overall performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Present the Club's portfolio of products in a compelling and effective manner, highlighting the benefits and value proposition.
  • Manage the sales process from initial introduction to completion, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a commercial or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
