As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring Scotland's water supply is safe and reliable. You will be responsible for transporting wastewater and sludge from treatment sites to designated disposal areas, while maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport wastewater and sludge from treatment sites to designated disposal areas
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Scottish Water policies and procedures
- Conduct vehicle checks and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Liaise with fleet to ensure vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing are up to date
- Provide excellent customer service to domestic and commercial customers
Requirements:
- Valid CPC card and Cat C license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and standby shifts
