Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Bella Italia Brighton Market St. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and customer relations.
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are met and that the restaurant is maintained to a high standard.
- Financial Management
- Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a similar industry.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
