About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to both children and teachers, working in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to children in the reception class, focusing on their academic and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to identify children who may require extra support and develop strategies to address their needs.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced school environment, responding to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the well-being and engagement of all students.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools.
  • Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment, with a focus on supporting children in primary education.
  • Ability to work effectively with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment and promote social skills.
  • A genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff, dedicated to providing an outstanding level of education.
