We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store/Retail/Counter Manager to lead our team of Sales Associates in achieving sales, customer service, and operational targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, coaching, and business management skills gained in a fast-paced retail environment.

The successful candidate will have total accountability for creating and executing a business plan that recruits and retains customers, develops a high-performing team, and drives sales and customer service targets.

As a Store/Retail/Counter Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates, providing inspirational and personalized customer service, and driving sales and customer service targets. You will also be responsible for creating and executing in-store events, managing inventory and facilities, and reconciling cash. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail management, business planning, and team leadership, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
  • Provide inspirational and personalized customer service
  • Create and execute a business plan that recruits and retains customers, develops a high-performing team, and drives sales and customer service targets
  • Manage inventory and facilities, and reconcile cash
  • Develop and implement in-store events and promotions
  • Recruit, train, and develop Sales Associates to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Monitor and analyze sales and customer service data to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven retail management experience preferably within cosmetics
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
  • Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
