Management Accountant Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at Space & Time Media. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in preparing monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and commentary.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and cashflows, to agreed timescales.
- Reconcile all intercompany transactions and balances.
- Assist the FP&A Manager with systems and process improvements to ensure accuracy of financial transactions, reporting, and modelling.
- Close and active involvement with day-to-day short-term cashflows for the group.
- Manage and reconcile purchasing and corporate credit card accounts.
- Assist with the year-end audit and production of statutory financial statements.
- Maintain and manage the fixed assets registers, including depreciation.
- Assist with improvement projects across the department.
- Responsibility for all day-to-day business taxes reporting, forecasting, and compliance.
- AAT or part-qualified (ACCA/ACA) certification.
- High proficiency with Excel.
- Commercial awareness.
