Job Title: Customer Service Administrator

Imperial Recruitment Group is partnering with an Engineering business to recruit a Customer Service Administrator.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing service-related tasks, and providing regular updates to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete day-to-day activities and manage the service book, service call traffic, and planning of all aspects of the services offered.
  • Liaise with factories and suppliers to ensure customer service excellence and support the Finance department to ensure payment/credit terms are adhered to.
  • Comply with financial regulations, policies, and controls, and embrace a performance culture framework to achieve service levels and improvements across set targets.
  • Ensure service targets and KPIs are achieved, and expectations are met with optimum levels of quality and service delivery.
  • Prioritize workload and demand from internal and external requests, and ensure the delivery of quality customer service.
  • Support any escalations with a one-call resolution and continuously monitor own performance for maximum efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization to ensure a collaborative approach is given to deliver requirements.
  • Maintain customer relationships across all customers and escalate concerns where necessary.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and procedures in respect of personal and department activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of prioritization, handling telephone calls, and planning and managing operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • High standard of IT literacy, including accounting software, MS Office, and advanced Excel skills.
