We are seeking a skilled General Catering Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Assistant with a background in exceptional food catering services to work at one of our prestigious education settings. As a General Catering Assistant, you will assist the Catering Supervisors and Chef Managers in all aspects of food service, including taking payment for food and drinks and cleaning equipment as required.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks to students and staff
* Maintain high health and safety standards in the kitchen and food service areas
* Ensure all food is handled in accordance with the standards set by our Food Safety & Quality management system
* Deliver and maintain excellent stock control skills and carry out and record any checks required on behalf of the Chef Manager or Catering Supervisor
* Provide excellent customer service and work as part of a team to deliver a high-quality food service

Requirements

* Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (desirable)
* Level 2 H & S Qualification (desirable)
* First Aid Certificate (desirable)
