Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Homeownership Collections team at Aylesbury. As a seasoned expert in collections and customer service, you will be responsible for leading a team of officers and assistants in the timely collection of rent, ground rent, service charge, equity loan interest, and other sundry payments due to Aylesbury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of collections professionals to consistently meet and exceed targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize arrears.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant housing legislation, including the Housing Acts, Landlord and Tenant Act, and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act.
- Provide complex case handling, including arrears recovery and complaint resolution, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and external partners.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in collections and customer service, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
