About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Collections Driver to join our team at Whistl. As a key member of our distribution operation team, you will be responsible for collecting parcels from our customers in the Bedford area, ensuring timely delivery and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect parcels from customers in the designated area, adhering to the agreed timeframe and route.
  • Assist with offloading collections vans, demonstrating attention to detail when scanning and segregating parcels.
  • Provide customers with outstanding service, responding to queries and passing on information gained during collections.
  • Highlight any collections that are going to be late and the reason for the delay to the operations team.
  • Maintain a professional manner while on site at collection points and at the depot.
Requirements
  • Ability to drive a 3.5t Sprinter type vehicle.
  • Good knowledge of the local area and road networks.
  • Ability to load and unload items of up to 30kg.
  • No more than 3 points on driving licence.
