Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of production and development environments.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps. Automate deployment processes for applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with software development teams to understand their requirements and provide the necessary tools and infrastructure. Facilitate effective communication between development operations and security teams.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices across all environments. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Monitoring and Performance: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of systems and applications.
  • Automation and Scripting: Write and maintain scripts for automation of various tasks (e.g., deployment, configuration management) using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
  • Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and best practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
