About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing and Revenue Manager to join our team at Neilson Active Holidays. As a key member of our Commercial department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to drive revenue, margin, and stock utilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dynamic Packaging:
    • Work with the Head of Revenue and Trading to create and implement pricing strategies for packages with dynamic elements.
    • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to ensure effective distribution across multiple channels, driving optimal revenue.
    • Continuously monitor and manage dynamic packages, updating price and product to drive revenue and room fill.
    • Monitor margin performance of dynamic packages to ensure performance is in line with budget expectations.
    • Utilize in-house booking and pricing systems to set-up and manage inventory and pricing.
    • Provide feedback and insight to the MI team to ensure existing reporting is fit for purpose and identify new reporting needs.
    • Communicate key priorities with Commercial and Marketing teams to help shape customer communications, offer and programme planning.
  • Channel Pricing:
    • Support in the pricing and rate of sale management of various channels, including third-party agents and OTAs, both in UK markets and overseas.
    • Communicate pricing and promotional updates across distribution channels.
  • Reporting:
    • Provide weekly updates on channel performance.
    • Regularly monitor performance vs key metrics.
    • Contribute to the Budget and Forecast process.
    • Proactively gather market intelligence, pricing, and insights.
    • Help develop standards, processes, and tools to drive greater efficiencies in how we work and operate as a cross-functional team.
    Requirements

    • Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams creating plans to drive commercial performance.
  • Technical Skills & Knowledge:
    • Excel, PowerPoint, and Word competency.
  • Experience & Track Record:
    • Proven experience in a yield management or trading role with strong pricing experience.
    • Experience of working with committed and variable inventory.
    • Knowledge of the customer purchasing cycle for high-value, low-frequency product.
    • Strong experience in the travel industry is advantageous.
